Suzanne and Dave had a beautiful Glasson Lakehouse Wedding. The lovely couple, who met at work, remind me of Hollywood.

Dave grew up visiting the shores of Lough Ree in Athlone Westmeath with his family, so it was full circle that he not only proposed to Suzanne there but that their wedding took place at Glasson Lakehouse

They kicked off their relationship on a trip to Vegas where they placed their cards on the table and recognised they both hit the jackpot in their pairing.

They have two beautiful children who Z&Z who played important roles on the day as ring bearer and flower girl.

Morning prep took place in the stunning Glasson Lakehouse suite, complete with brass bath and bay windows, allowing for some beautifully editorial images with the details and stunning the bride.

Dave sent a magnum of champers to the room as a gift which was being kept on ice, the flowers were delicate and soft in tone and the beauty in the stunning room, due to the bride, her Mam and her wedding party were in every corner. Touching gesture was a blue heart cut out of Suzanne’s Dad’s dress shirt for the bridal party to wear keeping his memory close.

The lads had a fun morning too, wearing sombreros, breaking out in laughter, some practical joke pranks on the Groom for everyone’s entertainment, all while a vinyl of U2 was spinning on the decks.

We took time to go to the Glasson Lakehouse in-house vintage style shebeen pub, called Tom’s Fish & Tackle, for some more laughs and portraits before the lads took their place behind the bar for some additional banter.

Suzanne made a breathtaking entrance during the ceremony. She’s so beautiful. Happy tears on the faces of many in attendance, including the bride and groom themselves.

Very touching to photograph.

Uniquely Suzanne’s bridesmaid niece who is an accomplished musician walked up the aisle with a microphone in hand and her gorgeous voice set the stage for Suzanne’s elegant entrance. It was a beautiful ceremony.

Their son told a hilarious joke during the sand pouring ceremony, and was thrilled when the whole room burst out in fits of laughter.

Possibly a future comedian?

Post ceremony family and friend photos happened outside of Glasson Lakehouse and around the venues very fitting Hollywood Hills style pool.

One of many gorgeous moments when Suzanne walked towards her husband Dave and her veil caught a warm breeze. A very Vogue moment.
Beautiful to photograph. We then took some bridal party and couple portraits around Glasson Lakehouse

The lads then took some time for adventure as they climbed into the boats on the Glasson Lakehouse property which made for some fun photos.
The ladies the same, striking a pose on the tables, and a special shout out to Suzanne was able to elegantly jump into the air a few feet!

What a photo and what a cool wedding party all around.

Speeches began, which where funny and emotional, and then dinner was served bu the friendly and hospitiable Glasson Lakehouse team.

Post dinner some more portraits of Suzanne and Dave were on the cards. We went with a Wes Anderson vibe as light cascaded into the lobby of Glasson then we headed out to the helicopter landing pad for some dancing in the sunset portraits.  We then headed to the Glasson Lakehouse lake.
It was so still, perfectly reflective, which captured the couple, the surrounding trees and the blue and pink sky above, as if it was a photo itself

A bird flew by in perfect time, & everything lined up gorgeously.

While we wrapped up cheers where happening on the terrace of Glasson as family and friends watched the photoshoot from a far.

The fantastic band Joe Petit and The Dream Band band set up, while the photo booth was in full swing.

I heard Suzanne could dance and wow was that correct. There were a few dances before the first dance to warm everyone up and with a shoe change Suzanne shows the room, effortlessly too, that she not only shines bright like a star, but could win dancing with the stars! I’d bet on her if she was ever on the program.

Hilarious moment when the band passed Dave the microphone to sing a few notes. We will just leave that there ! They gave him a second try, and more laughter filled the room.

Also epic at dancing was Dave,  swung their daughter around the dance floor as her smile beamed. Suzanne did the same.

It was gorgeous to watch this family making these memories throughout the day, that you know they will be core memories, that will decorate the future in the minds and heart.

What a privilege to be able to capture it for them with photos that will last a lifetime

Congrats again to this Hollywood couple, and thanks for having me along to photograph your special day.
