Linda and David’s Dylan Hotel Wedding was such beautiful and elegant celebration. It’s always so special when a couple’s wedding day arrives. Even more so after Covid regulations changed plans for these two a few times. As was the case for so many couples trying with heart to plan their I-do’s during a pandemic. Linda and David took it all in stride, and when their wedding day did arrive, the couple, their two daughters and an intimate gathering of nearest and dearest sure made the most of it.
Stunning morning preparations took place at the 5 star Dublin City Dylan Hotel and there were many touching moments between their family, as excitement built for the wedding ceremony.
Linda is a beautiful bride and wore an strikingly elegant dress by Sarah Foy, her hair was done by Joanne B Bridal Hair and her make up by Bonnie Ryan. Such a beautiful vision. David wore a suit by Protocol for Men and it was lovely when he received a call about one of his girls achieving well in school. Adding to their morning happiness.
Linda and David met 24 years previously in Howth. They have two clever and beautiful daughters, a beautiful 24 years together and shared in making the decision to wed. Making their decision together one day, and then making their arrangements.
This all added to the romance and excitement of their ceremony. It’s always touching to photograph those moments of love stories.
Further bridal portraits and festivities happened back at the Dylan Hotel. The hotel had recently been refurbished, so we enjoyed making use of it. Their reception dinner was dreamy as they dined underneath a green indoor fairy tale looking tree. Lisa Thurlowe Events Styling made sure everything was perfection. From the bridal floral, to the table setting, and decor. The couple then moved festivities into the retro bar snug for drinks, speeches and cake cutting.
Before I left them to party, we took some time for some additional evening bridal portraits. On our first meeting Linda and David explained they both were not fans of the camera. But as you can see from their images, the camera is fans of the couple. There was this gorgeous moment when they both just sat and chatted for a bit on a stunning couch set that looked like something from a Wes Anderson film. They were like a page from a magazine in motion. The stunning newlyweds.
