What a stunning day for the absolutely amazing Susanne and David at Boyne Hill House Estate. The couple are such a perfect match and it was fun getting to know them and photograph the pair and all their family and friends on their wedding day.

The fantastic newlyweds met during a work ‘sports and social’ event which was a literary pub crawl on Blooms day. David proposed to Susanne at Ardmore Cliff House Hotel, after dinner, just the two of them, with the bedroom balcony doors opened out to the sun setting across the sea. The stuff of romance novels!

The wedding morning started with the couple getting ready at Boyne Hill House Estate. Boyne Hill House Estate is and exclusive country country house, nestled in 38 acres , on the banks of the River Boyne, in Meath Ireland.

During the morning David and his groomsman had fun around the snooker table with David in his Louis Copeland Suit easily proving he’s a pool shark with a good shot.

Susanne and the ladies were all laughter and fun while getting ready.  A few happy tears too.Susanne wore a gorgeous wedding dress from Frilly Frocks The bridal and wedding party hair was done by Lisa Roche Bridal Make-up was done by Sara Golding The beautiful flowers were by Total Flowers Designs and the wedding rings by Ryan Jewellers in Kilkenny

Susanne and David’s beautifully emotional wedding took place in the estate’s secret garden, where the couple read personalized vows to one another surrounded by family, friends and flowers, before the wedding drinks reception under the sunshine back at the estate.

We took some time for family portraits before heading off for a magical couple portraits session. Magic like the movie Labyrinth, there were little floral petals blowing around in the warm breeze, the honey sunshine hugging the newlyweds,  the sounds of a little creek and birds chirping. It was beautiful. It was romantic. It was cinematic and and the couple closed their eyes for a few moments to take it all in. We had laughs, we let off a smoke bomb, it was great fun, and the laughter continued into dinner well into all the speeches. They were such touching speeches, but also very funny.

During the evening we took some time out to take some sunset portraits, some additional evening portraits beside the venues lite up LOVE sign, before we ventured into the Boyne Hill House Estate tunnel, which is a underground tunnel filled with thousands of fairy lights.

The night ended with David, Susanne and their guests dancing the night away to The Suitcase Trio

Previously to Susanne and David’s glorious wedding day, I knew David’s sister Edwina, who is a very talented Irish Film and Television nominated make-up artist. Edwina and I met while I was photographing stills for a music video starring Olwen Fouéré, Caoimhe O’Malley and directed by award winning director Tristan Heanue. I was all too delighted to then get to meet Susanne and David too. So thanks Edwina! We all had so much fun on the day!

What a beautiful wedding for such a stunning couple. Big thanks to Susanne and David for having me on hand for their photographs.

Congrats to the newlyweds! Scroll down for some more images from their wedding catalog
