Niamh and Dave’s Dublin City Wedding was an absolute party. The stylish newlyweds met on a night out in Whelans and hit it off instantly. Their wedding was a reflection of that. A gathering of good people for a great time.
No weddings need to happen in any particular order and that’s what makes no two weddings the same, and isn’t that delightful
Preferring not to have morning prep shots, Niamh and Dave’s wedding started at O’Connors of Mount Street with a smaller gathering of family and friends, which was an equally fun way to start the day.
The couple choose to arrive together in the early afternoon, looking very stylish and greeted by friends and family who were already waiting inside. A round of applause awaited the couple, some cheers, a few rounds from the bar, and some platters of sambos to kick off the day. It was great fun, even a fluffy white dog walked in to join in the festivities and was very welcomed by the whole wedding party. The little cutie
Niamh looked stunning in a wedding dress by Reiss,
Her hair was done by the award winning boutique hair salon Brown Sugar and her make-up by the equally talented John Bowes at Brown Sugar
Niamh’s gorgeous dried bridal flowers and Dave’s boutonniere was lovingly made by the couples friend Duilleog on Instagram. Beautiful work.
Dave also looked dapper in a smart suit by Strellson
The journey from O’Connors of Mount Street to Dublin Registry Office made a great chance for some photos along the way. Especially as we all walked by Love Lane. One has to stop for some photos, and it was great fun when everyone was cheering for them as they stood under the Love sign
Thanks for that fun everyone!
When we arrived at the Dublin Registry Office we took some time for some additional photos with the couple and their friends and family. Their wedding ceremony was beautiful, and post wedding ceremony we all walked to the canal for the official family photos.
Their friends and family then made their way to the first reception location, The Green Hen, for what was an amazing dinner. But first Niamh, Dave and myself took a bit of time for some solo bridal portraits
Once at The Green Hen the newlyweds were greeted with another huge round of applause. Dinner ,dessert and drinks were had by an open fire, before some very heartfelt and funny speeches.
As a group we all then walked to Lost Lane Dublin where the rest of their reception party was awaiting their arrival. The day before Niamh and Dave’s wedding day Dublin City put on the Christmas lights on Grafton Street, great timing, so we made use of that for a few moments.
Another heartfelt round of applause greeted the newlyweds when they arrived at Lost Lane Dublin, which is a fantastic space for a party
There was some gorgeous platters of food set out, really friendly staff, a coffee and tea station. Niamh and Dave took the time to do a walk around of the whole room with everyone cheering before they spent started to greet everyone individually.
The couple had wedding DJ Jim O’Brien on hand, the staff at Lost Lane were so kind, happiness was all round, and we made some time for some confetti shots before I went on my way and they partied the night away!
A fantastic Dublin City Wedding
Congrats again Niamh and Dave
