Aisling, Chris and their stunning and unique wedding at Virginia Park Lodge

This London based pair, are originally from Tipperary, Ireland and East Sussex, England and were introduced VIA their friend at her own wedding. A friend who’s title is now ‘successful match maker’.

Who doesn’t love a good love story!

It was a beautiful moment when this duo said their vows and she was a sitting as a guest, doing heart signs with her hands, clearly delighted with the results.

Chris proposed March 2020 in Richmond Park, just before the first U.K. lock down.

The proposal day came as a surprise Aisling explained when we had our first meeting, saying she wore a warm fleece and her park suitable leggings which at that point were quite muddy from the walk.

Aisling and Chris had a spectacular day at their Virginia Park Lodge wedding which started with Aisling and her ladies getting ready at The Gate House, before moving to the bridal suite, while Chris and his men getting themselves together at the Lodge.

Their wedding date arrived after a pandemic postpone, and the morning started with some beautiful morning tears when Aisling read a sentimental card from Chris.

Their love shines and their wedding day looks stylish and unique. As well as their bridal party. I loved the mix of fabrics and styles

Beautiful Aisling’s show stopping floral dress was beyond stunning, and it all fit so well with her personality, her surroundings and that sunset.

Her dress was from Temperly Bridal, her makeup by Stephanie Burgess Make Up Artist, and hair by Gemma Carolan

Their day was filled with emotion, family, friends, and a fun bridal party who were all ready for a good time.

There were so many touching moments during their day, beautiful readings at their ceremony, including a surprise poem from their amazing celebrant Hitched By Connie

We took some time through their bridal portraits session to set off a smoke bomb in their sunken labyrinth garden-as you do. Evening also called for a bit on confetti.

There were many folk who made great efforts to make their day, including Chris’s 94 year old granduncle, who after taking a flight to arrive, wasted no time hitting the dance floor with some top moves.

You can’t not mention the gorgeous food being served at Virginia Park Lodge. Chef Richard Corrigan, team, staff, so kind and hospitable, with a superb wedding menu

As well as the wedding florals and decorations, all imagined brilliantly by the bride herself and provided flawlessly by Virginia Park Lodge

resulting in a reception room that looked straight out of a fairytale, from fairy lights, to cascading flowers and long stemmed candles, it was stunning and the room so memorably fragrant

They also have a dear friend who owns Nazani Tea and who very kindly provided some amazing herbal infusions which were the base of mocktails for guests.

The speeches were so humorous and touching. A room full of heartfelt emotion

The music was fueled by The Vinyls, bringing the couple for a beautiful first dance, and their reception to their feet.

It was wonderful to be there to photograph this couple’s special day. A wonderful wedding in the lead up to Christmas at Virginia Park Lodge

Congrats again to Aisling and Chris and wish these two nothing but the continued success!
